AI virtual try-on for clothing stores
AI virtual try-on shows a garment worn by a person without organising a photo shoot. For a clothing store, that means on-model photos for every product page. NiceLook's Virtual try-on module takes one photo of a person and one to three garment photos, and returns a realistic worn look.

Two kinds of virtual try-on
- A try-on widget on your store: shoppers upload their own photo and see the garment on themselves. This requires a technical integration, usually through an API.
- On-model content creation: the store creates worn-look photos for product pages, lookbooks and social media. No integration needed.
NiceLook runs in the browser and has no public API, so it is built for the second use: producing on-model images. It is not a widget you can install on your shop.
How it works on NiceLook
- Open the Virtual try-on module.
- Upload one photo of the person: yourself, a model, or anyone who has agreed to it.
- Upload one to three garment photos, for example a top, trousers and a jacket to build a full outfit.
- Optionally describe the setting: “plain grey studio”, “city street”, “shirt tucked in”.
- Generate at 1K to validate, then at 2K or 4K for product pages.

If you need try-on at scale with a technical integration, a specialised tool makes sense. If you mainly need product pages that show how a garment falls on a body, and your volume changes from season to season, pay-per-use credits avoid a monthly bill during quiet months. If you also want packshots, flat lays and fashion model photos in one place, NiceLook groups those uses together.
Photo tips for believable results
The person photo
- Standing, front-on or at three-quarters, arms slightly away from the body: crossed arms hide the garment.
- Full length for trousers or long dresses; waist up is enough for tops.
- Even lighting with no backlight, and close-fitting clothes in the original photo.
The garment photo
- The whole garment, laid flat or on a hanger, without folded parts or heavy creases.
- On a plain background that contrasts with the garment colour.
- In daylight, so the colour is accurate: that is what the customer expects to receive.
- Prints, logos and buttons in sharp focus.
When NiceLook is not the right fit
If you want shoppers to try clothes on directly on your website, you need a solution with an API, which NiceLook does not offer. If you have to process an entire catalogue at once, the lack of batch processing will slow you down. And for a brand campaign where every fold matters, a real photo shoot is still the better option.

FAQ
How does AI virtual try-on work?
You upload a photo of a person and one to three garment photos. NiceLook's Virtual try-on module generates an image of the person wearing the outfit, at 1K, 2K or 4K, in about 30 seconds.
Can I add NiceLook virtual try-on to my online store?
No. NiceLook has no public API, so it cannot be embedded as a try-on widget. It is designed to create on-model photos for product pages, lookbooks and social media.
How much does a virtual try-on image cost?
20 credits at 1K and 40 credits at 2K or 4K. Sign-up includes 100 free credits; packs start at €4.99 for 500 credits, with no subscription.
Can I use photos of real models?
Only with their consent. For commercial use, get a signed release from any person whose photo you use.
